As a program supervisor with the Park Forest Recreation and Parks Department, I have witnessed the best and worst that youth sports can offer. In my role as liaison to our town's youth sports organizations, I have promoted the training and values that Kids First Sports Safety Inc. offers to:
youth sports organizations as a way for these organizations to manage the youth, coaches and fans who will determine whether or not a season is successful or a disaster!
The Kid First Sport Safety program is aptly named. The focus is truly on the kids being first, with safety being the number one goal. The training that was held in our town recently was met with enthusiasm and appreciation for the ideas and techniques taught. The program is concise and backed by practical experience in athletics. Additionally, the program embraces the values encouraged by the National Alliance For Youth Sports.
I recommend this program for any youth organization that wants to assure that the values and techniques being taught to youth are safe and consistent throughout the program.
Sincerely,
Chuck Sabey

Valparaiso IN- Dad: Drew Watson: quoted in Indiana Post Tribune 8/2/04 Neighbors section says: "Best kept secret in football" Morgan Singel does this with a passion. "Here the focus is on the kid"
Huntley IL- Huntley Youth Football Vice President/Coach Jeff Larson: says: The coaches' clinic and secondly, the on-field players' & coaches' instruction enhanced all that participated some 260 players and over 70 coaches. The skills and safety practice drills brought team awareness, accelerated our learning curve and made a positive impact.
Naperville IL- Mom: Maroella Gauen: says: The football camp was excellent; you can tell the coaches played at a high level. My son benefited greatly by hands-on approach to fundamentals, so happy I did this- realize how important safety is. This program should be mandatory for all youth football programs! Thanks so very much!

Valparaiso IN- Mom: Merrie Peterson: quote in Post Tribune 8/2/04 Neighbors section says: "I heard good things from the camp last year with the emphasis on safety; the web site convinced her, this was the camp for her 6 year old son Joel, who will play Pop Warner this fall. "I'm not real big on football and I'm worried about injury," "Coach Singel brought me on the field and showed me what a difference a solid body balance position can make in blocking and tackling, the kids feel safer and now I feel safer about Joel playing." (A letter of thanks; says): I feel more comfortable with him starting football with your safety camp as a spring board. All the Best, Merrie Peterson
P. S. Joel loved your camp!
Valparaiso IN- Camper Nick Thompson: 12 years old says: quoted in Indiana Post Tribune 8/2/04 Neighbors section: "Last year, I learned a whole bunch with Kids First camp; That is why I wanted my dad to sign me up this year. I learned more in two days here than I did in the O-D (offensive-defensive) camp at Notre Dame,"
Paul Beckett: Our daughter, Claire Beckett participated in the Naperville Park District Flag football program that was coached by you. In short, the program was outstanding. You did a fantastic job with the kids. From teaching them the fundamentals of a stance to teaching them how to kick, it was absolutely wonderful. My daughter couldn't wait for each Saturday morning. It's nice to have a kids program run by professionals who care about teaching the kids the right way. I would not hesitate to enroll her in another KidsFirst type program. Thank you for such a positive experience.
